The Agile Manifesto is a group of software development methodologies which promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery, a time-boxed iterative approach, and encourages rapid and flexible response to change.

The principals of Agile

  • Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software.   
  • Welcome changing requirements, even late in development. Agile processes harness change for the customer's competitive advantage.   
  • Deliver working software frequently, from a couple of weeks to a couple of months, with a preference to the shorter timescale.   
  • Business people and developers must work together daily throughout the project.   
  • Build projects around motivated individuals. Give them the environment and support they need, and trust them to get the job done.   
  • The most efficient and effective method of conveying information to and within a development team is face-to-face conversation.   
  • Working software is the primary measure of progress.   
  • Agile processes promote sustainable development. The sponsors, developers, and users should be able to maintain a constant pace indefinitely.   
  • Continuous attention to technical excellence and good design enhances agility.   
  • Simplicity--the art of maximizing the amount of work not done--is essential.   
  • The best architectures, requirements, and designs emerge from self-organizing teams.   
  • At regular intervals, the team reflects on how to become more effective, then tunes and adjusts its behaviour accordingly.

INEA Rebuild

A database platform that enables Estate Agents to share and collaborate. What started as a fairly small data sharing application, now has a suite of specialist tools that are all designed to meet the needs of a British Estate Agent - from geo-mapping of properties to automated ‘colour particulars’ and including a range of dedicated email marketing tools that can transform productivity.
The rebuild of the INEA website blends our knowledge of mapping with big data so that agents can share their properties with other members.

Newsstand

Newsstand is a 17 year collaboration building an on-line magazine subscription business from a skunkworks project in the corner of the factory, into a multi-million pound business.
It's nice to wake up on a Saturday morning and read the latest issue of your favourite English magazine, even if you live far away. And that is precisely the service that Newsstand Magazines has set up for you. They will regularly post to you any of the 1,000s of magazines on their list, where-ever you are.

Tools to help clean big data

We are currently working on a marketing and data visualisation project on behalf of one of the World's most recognised brands and largest food and drinks manufacturers. Our bit is the most important bit but the least glamourous; creating tools to help sift, sort and consolidate masses of data so that it can be usefully interrogated.
