It depends what you want it to do!
It’s not easy to answer this question because there are so many different types of web sites. To give you an idea of cost, we have grouped some of our clients according to the type of service they have requested of us. By reviewing the work we have done for them, you should be able to tell roughly how much it will cost to fulfil your needs. Please call Steve Milton

Simple sites (£500 to £1,500):
At the simplest end of the scale is the ‘brochure’ web site but even this can vary from that ‘cheap flyer’ to the ‘glossy booklet’. We can assist in putting together an appropriate package for most people’s requirements. This can include
- Acquiring the domain name
- Hosting the site
- Organizing the emails
- A site design which reflects the existing corporate identity.
- Help in creating the content, both text and images
- A solid foundation on which future developments can be built

Self-Managed sites (£2,500 to £6,000):
Most businesses quickly discover that the simple brochure web site is of limited value to them. They want to be able to reflect the experience and expertise of their staff on the site, and that means taking some level of control and being able to add and edit content quickly and easily.
We have developed a CMS (Content Management System) that is very easy to use because it is based on composing the information as a Word document and then uploading it to the website with very little technical skill required. The websites don’t look dramatically different but there are substantial administrative facilities available which are hidden from the casual viewer’s gaze.
The immediate benefit comes from having instant control over issues such as staff changes, case studies, job opportunitiesetc. In addition the new web pages can be produced within a coherent navigational structure and can be designed to be well indexed by search engines.

Partner Businesses:
I.T. is increasingly an integral part of the whole business process.
- The Newsstand site is regularly attracting over a thousand visitors per day and has seen 300% sales growth and over the last year. The BackOffice features of this site include the creation and delivery labels for the fulfilment service, tracking sales promotions, monitoring server activity and a managed flow of changes and improvements each month.
- Overbury plc is one of the top office refurbishment companies in England. Not only are we producing O&M manuals for major projects, that we have a constant program to progressively improve the ease with which the information is accumulated and the quality of its final presentation.
- Advanced Medical Optics plc is an American company that supplies contact lens cleaning fluids to opticians throughout Europe. Our initial project was to provide territory managers with a bespoke CRM (Customer Relations Manager) application that could be run on portable laptop computers and synchronized to a master database every evening. We then enhanced this with a telesales web site connection to the same database, and have recently implemented a new multilingual ordering site for the Scandinavian markets.
These are just a few examples of how we work closely with clients to deliver business advantage in key areas of development. We are always happy to work in conjunction with existing teams and have valuable experience in managing the implementation cycle.
